jobhigh5 is a subscription service with a free trial, so you can evaluate everything before you're ever charged. This page explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work. We aim to be fair — if something went wrong with a charge, talk to us and we'll make it right.

3-day free trial

Every new account starts with a 3-day free trial with full access — no card required to begin. The trial is your opportunity to evaluate the product. If it isn't for you, simply don't upgrade and you will never be charged. When the trial ends, your account moves to the free tier unless you choose a paid plan.

Subscriptions — cancel any time

  • You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing, or from the customer portal link in your account. There is no cancellation fee.
  • When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. The subscription simply does not renew after that — you are not charged again.
  • Because you retain access for the remainder of a period you've paid for, we do not automatically refund partial, unused time within a billing period.
  • Accidental renewals: if you were charged for a renewal you didn't intend and you contact us within 7 days of that charge — before you've made substantial use of the new period — we will refund it in full.

One-time purchases

A one-time (single-payment) purchase grants Pro access immediately for a fixed length — 1 month, 6 months, or 12 months — and does not auto-renew. Because access is delivered instantly and is time-limited, one-time purchases are generally non-refundable once the access period has started.

That said, we offer a 7-day goodwill window: if you bought a one-time plan within the last 7 days and have made little or no use of the paid features (for example, you haven't run AI-tailored applications or interview prep), email us and we'll refund it.

How to request a refund

  • Email support@jobhigh5.com from (or referencing) your account email, with the approximate date of the charge and a one-line reason.
  • We review refund requests within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds typically appear within 5–10 business days.

Who processes your payment

Payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy appears on your card or bank statement, handles applicable taxes (such as GST/VAT), and disburses any refund on our behalf. You can reach us directly at support@jobhigh5.com for anything billing-related.

Disputes & chargebacks

If you see a charge you don't recognise or believe is an error, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a formal card dispute, and we'd rather fix the problem than fight it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes won't be applied retroactively to a purchase you've already made.
